Practical Tips:
- Transportation: We arrived at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. From there you easily can take Arlanda Express train or a shuttle to the city center. The Stockholm Public Transportation System is excellent. Purchase an SL Access Card for unlimited rides on buses, trams, and the metro 🚎
- Currency: Swedish Krona (SEK) is the local currency. Credit Cards are widely accepted, but it’s always good to have some cash on hand for smaller establishments 💸
- Language: English is widely spoken, so language barriers won’t be an issue 🗣
- Weather: Pack layers, even during summer. Stockholm weather can be unpredictable. Winter graces Stockholm with snow-covered streets and cozy cafe scenes, while summer gifts visitors with more pleasant weather and extended daylight hours. All in all, keep an eye on the weather forecasts 🌦
